Remote Office: take your calls on another number

Remote Office sends your Horizon calls to another phone — for example your home landline or mobile — and lets you make calls that still show your business number.

Turning it on

1. Log in to the Horizon portal and open Remote Office.
2. Enter the number where you are, and choose Update (or Activate).
3. When you’re back in the office, choose Deactivate.

You can also dial *12 to turn it on and *13 to turn it off from your desk phone.

How it works

• Calls to your number ring at the Remote Office number instead, and your usual call rules still apply (busy, no answer, voicemail).
• Use Click to Dial in the portal to make calls: Horizon rings you first, then connects the call — the other person sees your business number and the call is billed to your Horizon account.

For most people, the Webex app on a mobile or laptop is now the easier way to work remotely.
